Getting to Know Dr. Jessica

Dr. Jessica grew up in eastern Washington and lives there with her husband and five children. In addition to her nutrition studies, she's also a writer, yoga teacher, reiki master, and NLP practitioner. She loves spending time in her garden, cooking, playing with her dogs, hiking with her family, and reading.

Dr. Jessica Titchenal (Dr. Jessica) is a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition and a Certified Nutrition Specialist practitioner. She specializes in personalized nutrition, women's health, pediatric nutrition, gut health, cognitive health, and nutrigenomics.

Dr. Jessica attended Maryland University of Integrative Health where she received a Master of Science in Nutrition & Integrative Health and a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition. She's completed specialized training in ketogenic nutrition, nutrition for gastrointestinal health, personalized nutrition, nutrigenomics, and pediatric nutrition.

Before starting her journey with integrative and functional medicine, she struggled to help her children combat severe eczema and food allergies. She was drawn to pediatric nutrition, with an emphasis on gut health, food allergies and intolerances, cognitive health, neurodiverse children, and supporting the entire family. Her other special interests include women's health, and working with adults to support gut health, cognitive health, and nutrigenomics.

Dr. Jessica has worked with medically complex clients of all ages and genders. She completed her doctoral research on the mycobiome and is fascinated with how the various microbes in the gut interact with one another and can support or harm our health. She has extensive experience working with food allergies and intolerances, and loves helping clients find freedom with food.
