What will happen at my Eczema Evaluation?
A Cleanbody Practitioner will conduct a thorough assessment of various factors, including a review of your health assessment questionnaire, detailed health history, journal entries, and any laboratory results you've gathered from prior healthcare providers. Utilizing this comprehensive information, she will formulate hypotheses regarding potential root causes contributing to your eczema. Considering factors such as the severity of your condition, age, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, and geographic location, the Cleanbody Practitioner will then recommend the most suitable Cleanbody, CleanSKIN Eczema journey tailored specifically to your needs.
Who is the Cleanbody Practitioner?
Our Cleanbody Practitioner is a Certified Nutrition Specialist with an advanced nutrition degrees, and is personally trained and mentored by Dr. Fong in the Cleanbody Method for eczema to ensure you receive the same high level of care and root-cause approach that Cleanbody is known for. Am I able to work with the Cleanbody Team?
Telehealth visits are available with a Cleanbody Practitioner and/or Dr. Fong if you're located in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. If you live in Deleware, Guam, Louisiana, Nebraska, Maine, Ohio, or South Dakota, visits with Dr. Fong are also available. Our Cleanbody Practitioner will assess your health and location to determine the best practitioner for you to work with.
Live elsewhere? No problem. Our Essential Support Membership provides group guidance, educational resources, and direct lab ordering to support your wellness journey—no matter where you are. You may also have access to ordering labs directly. We recommend starting with a Eczema Evaluation for expert insight and a personalized roadmap to help you move forward, even if 1-on-1 care isn't currently available in your area.

Is my Eczema Evaluation visit virtual or in person?
This visit is conducted virtually via Zoom. If you choose to continue care with us, your Cleanbody Practitioner will conduct her visits virtually, and Dr. Fong can be seen virtually or in person at our Menlo Park, CA location.
If I decide to move forward with care, what are my payment options? Can I use my insurance or FSA/HSA? Do you offer financing?
At Cleanbody, we do not accept insurance. However, we provide insurance superbills for patients and clients in California and Maine for medical visits and services with Dr. Fong, and in Arizona, Indiana, Maryland, Colorado, Texas, Georgia, Virginia, and Pennsylvania for visits with the Cleanbody Practitioner. These superbills can be submitted to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
We also accept FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) and HSA (Health Savings Accounts) for qualified individuals. Additionally, we offer financing options to help make care more accessible. Click here to learn more about insurance, FSA/HSA, and financing options.
Do I need to get labs drawn before my Eczema Evaluation?
No, you do not need to get labs drawn before this visit. However, if you have had labs drawn within the last three years, you can upload them to your chart before your visit. This allows the Cleanbody Practitioner to review them and consider the results when assessing your health.
