ABOUT GETTING STARTED

Do I need to start with an Eczema Clarity Visit?

It depends on what level of support you’re looking for.

• If you want education and group support only, you may join Eczema Foundations directly.

• If you want personalized answers, lab guidance, or 1:1 care, you must start with an Eczema Clarity Visit.

The Clarity Visit allows Dr. Fong to understand your case and recommend the right next step — without over- or under-treating.

What happens during the Eczema Clarity Visit?

The Clarity Visit is a 25-minute virtual visit focused on understanding your eczema story. During this visit, Dr. Fong will:

​

• Review eczema history, patterns, and triggers

• Assess severity, chronicity, and prior treatments

• Identify likely root causes (gut, immune, skin barrier, lifestyle, environment)

• Recommend whether labs are appropriate

• Explain which care path makes the most sense for you or your child

You will leave with clarity, not pressure.

Is the Eczema Clarity Visit refundable?

Yes. If you feel the visit did not provide clarity or value, you may request a full refund within 72 hours of your visit.

Does the Clarity Visit apply toward other care?

Yes. If you enroll in any 1:1 service, including the Eczema Evaluation Package, Eczema Concierge Program, CB Practitioner Visit, or Foundations Tier, within the stated timeframe, the $97 Clarity Visit fee is applied toward your next step.

🌿 Eczema Foundations: Foundational Support

Eczema Foundations is a monthly membership focused on building the foundational conditions that allow healing to happen.

• Adults with eczema

• Parents of children or infants with eczema

• Mild to moderate eczema

• Those who want foundational support, education, support, and structure

• Those not ready for medical care yet

This is often enough when eczema is primarily driven by:

• diet and nutrition

• lifestyle and routines

• stress and nervous system imbalance

• disrupted sleep

• skin barrier and microbiome imbalance

Inside Eczema Foundations, you’ll get:

• Eczema-specific orientation (topicals, baths, itch, sleep, TSW, healing timelines)

• Cleanbody Core Education (heal from the inside out)

• Weekly group support calls with Dr. Fong & the Cleanbody Team

• Journaling and weekly pattern tracking

• Optional weekly guided support and visits from a Cleanbody Practitioner

🔍 Eczema Evaluation Package: Answers + Direction

The Eczema Evaluation Package is a time-limited, focused assessment designed to answer one key question:

Why is this happening in my body (or my child’s body)?

Best for:

• Persistent or relapsing eczema

• Moderate to severe symptoms

• Eczema not improving with diet and lifestyle changes alone

• Suspected mold, heavy metals, gut infections, or toxin burden

• Parents who want clear answers before committing to long-term care

This package includes:

• Comprehensive health history review

• Symptom and pattern analysis

• Functional lab interpretation (as appropriate)

• Identification of key root causes

• A clear, personalized healing roadmap

This option provides clarity and direction — without ongoing care or commitment. Labs are optional and recommended only when clinically indicated. Lab costs are paid directly to the lab or may be covered by insurance.

The goal of the Evaluation Package is clarity. 🌱 Eczema Concierge Program: Comprehensive 1:1 Support

The Concierge Program is our highest level of care, designed for those who want a physician guiding the entire healing process.

​

Best for:

• Severe, complex, or long-standing eczema

• Confirmed or suspected Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW)

• Pediatric cases needing close oversight

• Families wanting hands-on, step-by-step support

​

This program integrates:

• Diet and lifestyle foundations

• Deep root-cause investigation

• Functional lab testing

• Medical decision-making

• Ongoing adjustments and follow-up

• Personalized protocols and support

Healing eczema takes time, which is why this program begins with a 4-month commitment.
For your convenience, you may pay upfront for the first four months at $3,797 (save $191). After the initial four months, you have full flexibility to continue monthly ($997), quarterly ($2,797 — save $194), or step into visit-to-visit care (Visits $137-497) as your symptoms stabilize. Click here to learn more.

ABOUT VISITS

Are visits virtual or in person?

All Cleanbody visits are virtual, allowing families nationwide to receive care.

In-Person Option (Dr. Fong only):
In-person visits in Menlo Park, CA may be available when recommended or requested, for an additional $20 per visit. 

ABOUT LABS

Do I have to do labs?

No. Labs are optional and recommended only when clinically appropriate.

What labs might be recommended?

Depending on your case, labs may include, and are not limited to:

• Stool / microbiome testing

• Food sensitivity testing

• Mold or toxin exposure testing

• Nutrient or inflammation markers

• Comprehensive organ health testing

How do I pay for labs?

Labs are an additional cost paid directly to the lab. Some labs may be eligible for:

• Insurance coverage or reimbursement (varies by state)

• FSA/HSA use

• Payment plans

ABOUT WEEKLY SUPPORT

What is the weekly support call?

The weekly support call is a live group session led by Dr. Fong and Cleanbody team where we:

​

• answer common questions submitted through weekly update forms

• explain eczema patterns, flares, and healing phases

• provide education on nutrition, gut health, skin care, and lifestyle

• offer guidance you can apply immediately

​

You don’t need to share personal details if you don’t want to — many families simply listen and learn. This call helps you feel supported, informed, and less alone in the healing process.

​

What is the weekly journal and update form review?

Each week, you submit:

• a short weekly update form (symptoms, wins, challenges, questions)

• journal entries tracking skin changes, digestion, food, sleep, and lifestyle factors

​

Your provider reviews these entries to:

• identify patterns and triggers

• assess how your body is responding

• guide next steps and adjustments

• respond with structured feedback

​

This system allows us to track progress over time and adjust care safely — instead of guessing or reacting only during visits.

​

How is this different from messaging?

Rather than unlimited back-and-forth messaging (which often leads to overwhelm or missed context), Cleanbody uses structured weekly review.

This ensures:

• thoughtful, complete responses

• pattern-based care instead of quick fixes

• sustainable support for both families and providers

Questions submitted in your update form are always addressed during review and/or on the weekly call.

Will I get to experience this support before committing to a program?

Yes. When you book an Eczema Clarity Visit, you’ll receive:

• free access to one weekly support call

• a weekly update form to complete

• review of your journals and update form by the Cleanbody team

This allows you to experience firsthand what our weekly support and review system feels like — before deciding on a program.

Why is weekly support important for eczema?

Eczema doesn’t change only every few months — it changes week to week.

Weekly tracking and support allows us to:

ABOUT ELIGIBILITY

Can I work with Cleanbody from my state or country?

• Eczema Foundations is available everywhere.

• 1:1 care eligibility depends on state regulations.

During your Eczema Clarity Visit, we will confirm:

• Whether Dr. Fong can provide medical or wellness care in your state

• Whether nutrition-led care is appropriate

• Which care path is legally and clinically appropriate for you

ABOUT INSURANCE & PAYMENT

Do you take insurance?

We do not bill insurance directly. Superbills may be available for eligible visits in certain states. Many families use PPO, FSA, or HSA funds.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing options may be available for:

What is your refund policy?

• Eczema Clarity Visit: Refundable within 72 hours

• Concierge Program: 30-day refund window for unused services only

Completed visits, delivered reviews, and accessed materials are non-refundable.

ABOUT RESULTS

What if I don’t improve?

Eczema healing is a process. If progress is slower than expected, we reassess root causes, adjust protocols, recommend additional testing, or modify support. Your care always evolves with your body.

AFTER CARE & NEXT STEPS

What happens after I complete the Eczema Evaluation Package or Concierge Program?

After you complete either the Eczema Evaluation Package or the Eczema Concierge Program, your next step depends entirely on your progress and needs. Our goal is not to keep you in care indefinitely — it’s to help you reach stability, clarity, and confidence so you can choose the level of support that fits your life.​ Your provider will review your progress with you and recommend the most appropriate next step.

Am I required to stay in a program long-term?

No. There are no long-term contracts beyond any initial minimum commitment. After completing your initial phase of care, you are free to:

​

• continue care

• step down to less support

• or pause care altogether​

​

You stay because it’s helping — not because you’re locked in.

​

Can I continue the Concierge Program if I still need support?

Yes. If your eczema is still active or improving but not yet stable, you may continue in the Eczema Concierge Program on a month-to-month or quarterly basis.

​

This is common for patients who are:

​

• healing from chronic or cyclical flares

• addressing gut, immune, or skin barrier repair

• recovering from Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW)

• working through mold or food-related triggers

​

Your care plan remains flexible and responsive to your progress.

​

What is visit-to-visit care, and when is it appropriate?

Visit-to-visit care is available once symptoms are mostly stable and you feel confident managing your routine.

This option is ideal if you:

​

• only need periodic guidance

• want flexibility without ongoing weekly oversight

• need seasonal or flare-based support

​

Visit length and frequency are determined by Dr. Fong based on clinical need and are typically offered after structured care. Visit fees with Dr. Fong typically range from $137–$497 per visit, depending on visit length, complexity, and medical needs.

​

Can I stay connected without 1:1 care?

Yes. Many patients choose to remain in Eczema Foundations for ongoing education, community support, and accountability.

​

Foundations is a great fit if you:

​

• want continued access to resources and weekly group support

• are maintaining progress independently

• prefer education-focused support rather than 1:1 care

​

You may stay in Foundations long-term or cancel at any time.

​

What if my eczema is clear and stable?

That’s the goal! Many families complete care, stabilize their eczema, and return only:

​

• during seasonal flares

• life transitions (stress, puberty, pregnancy, illness)

• or for periodic check-ins

​

We consider this a success — not a dropout.

​

How do you decide what I should do next?

We base recommendations on:

​

• your symptom stability

• how your body responded to care

• lab trends (if applicable)

• your comfort level managing your plan

​

We will always recommend the least intensive level of care that is medically appropriate.

​

Will I be pressured to continue care?

No. Our philosophy is heal → stabilize → maintain, not endless treatment. We are transparent, ethical, and patient-centered. Your body leads the timeline — not a contract.

Do you work with babies and kids?

Yes. Pediatric eczema is a core focus of Cleanbody. All care is tailored to age, severity, and family capacity.
